By accessing and using the Hostelo Hub website and mobile application (the "Platform"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Platform.

These Terms of Service constitute the entire agreement between you and Hostelo Hub regarding your use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

2. User Eligibility

To use Hostelo Hub, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent
• Be a student, coaching aspirant, or legitimate user seeking hostel accommodation
• Have the legal authority to enter into this agreement
• Reside in India or have valid authorization to book accommodations in India
• Provide accurate and complete information during registration

3. Account Registration

Account Creation

To use certain features of Hostelo Hub, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the confidentiality of your password
• Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
• Notify us immediately of unauthorized access to your account
• Update your information when changes occur

Account Security

Hostelo Hub is not responsible for any unauthorized access to your account due to your failure to maintain password confidentiality. You are responsible for all transactions made through your account.

4. User Responsibilities

As a user of Hostelo Hub, you agree to:

• Use the Platform lawfully and in accordance with these terms
• Not engage in harassment, abuse, or discrimination against hostel staff or other users
• Not post false, misleading, or defamatory content
• Not attempt to hack, disrupt, or compromise platform security
• Not use automated tools to scrape or extract data
• Not engage in any form of fraud or misrepresentation
• Not violate any local, state, or national laws
• Comply with hostel rules and regulations upon booking

5. Booking Policy

Booking Process

Booking through Hostelo Hub constitutes an agreement between you and the hostel owner. Hostelo Hub acts as a platform facilitator and is not a party to the accommodation agreement.

Availability & Accuracy

While we strive to keep hostel information current and accurate, Hostelo Hub does not guarantee the accuracy of hostel descriptions, pricing, or availability. Hostel owners are responsible for maintaining accurate information.

Confirmation

A booking is confirmed only after you receive a confirmation email or SMS from the hostel. Hostelo Hub reserves the right to reject or cancel any booking that violates these terms.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

Cancellation by User

Cancellation policies are determined by individual hostels and are displayed at the time of booking. Common policies include:

• Free cancellation up to 7 days before check-in
• 50% refund for cancellations 3-7 days before check-in
• No refund for cancellations within 3 days of check-in

Cancellation by Hostel

Hostels may cancel bookings in case of unavoidable circumstances. In such cases, you will receive a full refund or alternative accommodation options.

Refund Process

Refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days to your original payment method. Refunds for cancellations are subject to the hostel's specific cancellation policy.

7. Payment Terms

Payment Methods

Hostelo Hub accepts various payment methods including credit cards, debit cards, net banking, UPI, and digital wallets. All payments are processed through secure gateways.

Pricing

Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR) and include GST unless otherwise specified. Prices are subject to change without notice, but confirmed bookings will honor the agreed-upon rate.

Payment Processing

Payment is due at the time of booking unless otherwise specified. Failed payment transactions will result in booking cancellation. You are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds.

Taxes & Charges

All applicable taxes, GST, and government charges are included in the displayed price. Additional charges may apply for special services or amenities.

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, functionality, and materials on Hostelo Hub, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, images, videos, and code, are the exclusive property of Hostelo Hub or its content providers and are protected by copyright laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, transmit, modify, or display any content without prior written permission from Hostelo Hub.

9. User Content

Reviews & Ratings

Users may submit reviews and ratings for hostels. Your reviews must be:

• Truthful and based on your actual experience
• Free from offensive, vulgar, or defamatory language
• Not contain personal information or contact details
• Not promote competing businesses

Content Rights

By submitting reviews, ratings, or other content, you grant Hostelo Hub a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, and distribute your content.

Content Removal

Hostelo Hub reserves the right to remove any content that violates these terms or applicable laws.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hostelo Hub shall not be liable for:

• Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
• Any damage to your device or internet connection
• The quality, accuracy, or reliability of hostel services
• Any disputes between you and hostel owners
• Delays or failures in service delivery

11. Dispute Resolution

Grievance Redressal

In case of any dispute, users can file a complaint through our customer support portal. We aim to resolve complaints within 7 business days.

Arbitration

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996, with a seat of arbitration in India.

Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

12. Changes to Terms

Hostelo Hub reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform. Your continued use of Hostelo Hub after any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
